- This isn't true. I'm running an A3640 in my A3000, which started out as
- a 16mhz machine. There are jumpers on the motherboard for allowing the use
- of the external clock on the A3640 and changing the ROM speed to match. I
- did find that the jumper settings as shown in the web page concerning the
- conversion are wrong though. I believe the most important aspect of the
- whole conversion is making sure you have the updated DMAC and Ramsey chips.
- I bought mine from Software Hut and it has been running fine ever since.
